Scottsville hosts Sunday`s local racing action, an eight race card with a 12:30pm kick-off time.


TRACK INFORMATION

Race Track: Turf. 2300m oval circuit. Races up to 1200m straight course; beyond 1200m clockwise round turn with 550m run-in. There are inside and outside tracks in races beyond 1200m with a common back straight and turns. The outside track joins the 1200m straight course at the 550m mark, while the inside track has its own run-in.

Best Draws: Low-number draws favoured 1600m.

One runner today- Drama Queen in race 7. Tough task at the weights and a bit of a gap since her last run, so might need it slightly. Outside place chance. Caya Coco looks the right one at the weights, although her best runs have been 1400m, she does get the mile. It's very open if she fluffs her lines.
Race 1 Lunarcam good debut and should win
Race 2 Specially Selected good Gauteng form, and should win if this is not too sharp.
Race 3 Ancient Epic good improvement last time and should win. Diamond Girl the danger.
race 8 Sea Eagle should be good enough to win.

Race 7 . Must see the best rated or luckiest race horse in SA. Back to back listed and Grade 2 winner with a rating of MR88. after running 3rd in a listed race before that.
either the above scenario is true or some KZN races are carrying gradings they don't deserve.
