Ocean basket stop jockey sponsorship

Imo companies like Ocean Basket should be courted by our racing authorities to sponsor racing.
By their jockey sponsorship they showed more interest than most and should have been persued and expanded to the industry.
Joint promotions, vouchers, advertising etc with them should have been part of this 'Basket'.
Ocean Basket threw out the bait, our wise men that run racing didnt bite and now the catch has wriggled away.

I will say again marketing of SA horseracing is a joke the entire MKT team should be canned and replaced.

New Blood needs to be attracted to racing sponsorship.

In these conditions however the going will be tough to find new sponsors.

RETAILERS is there a single sponsor.
BANKS is there a single sponsor. Investec couple of races.
MINERS is there a single sponsor.
