Starting Prices

I saw this posting by Jay August on FB yesterday regarding the starting prices of the following horses on debut:

War of Athena - 70/1
Captains Ransom - 16/1
Anything Goes - 11/1
Linebacker - 55/1
Kommetdieding - 16/1

Many horses are backed on debut based on gallops / barrier trials but these some how had generous starting prices.

Very interesting, it just shows when you have a champ, it might only come to light after a few races and horses can make a fool of us.

Will need run, will need more ground, education run, green, etc ........

Did all of them win first time out - I know Kommetdieding won - not sure about the others ?
