RIP Stoffel and Pitso

Sad sad day for the stable when we lost 2 of our staff yesterday .

As a social outing to Maitland beach turned tragic. Pitso lost his footing in less than 1m deep water and got caught in a rip current , Johannes (better known as Stoffel in the stable ) tried to help him out and got caught also and both ended into trouble and was pulled into the sea.

Within 15 minutes rescue services and police was on the scene to help but it was too late. Pitso been with the stable only 3 weeks but your humor is already missed and ou Stoffel , jy was my beste rider en jy het n held gesterf en jy was n yster. May both Pitso and Johannes Rest in Peace .
