How is this for building confidence in the game - Azzie stable sends out a 4 yr old filly in race 2 (after being taken out on Thursday over 1450 around the bend - ok maybe they prefer to race down the straight on debut - and I suppose being allowed to run has something to do with the meeting being postponed a week) - anyway the comments in both Computaforms state 'Will need the run' - yet current price is 2/1 (as per HW it opened at 5.56 / 1) - so apparently the filly has shown remarkable improvement in work since the comment in Computaform was printed

The Guineas races, i approach it with who do you think can go on and win all three legs. For the potential winner, this would be the most difficult leg to win, this being the minimum distance they attempting.

Looking at the fillies race, i would side with Carolluma, but she would need lots of luck to beat the top two, not impossible though. If recapturing early form, she must have a shout, horses lose form but not ability, so we told. Not sure the top two in the betting will go much further on breeding, therefore Carolluma is worth a go "looking at the bigger picture".

In the colts race, Catchtwentytwo is bred to go much further, from both sides, and must have a good chance of winning this, and probably going on, if successful.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

howzit all...hopefully the ground has dried up a bit so no excuses lol
nice day of racing anyways...favorites imo should do well today

race 2 - notice that Just Judy was carded on Thursday and lots of money flooded in but was then scratched. probably wise move from the connections with the conditions of the ground that day so could be worth a bet today. add 2/5 for your Bipot
race 3 - with the scratching of Smuts the top 3 in the betting will fight it out
race 4 - Anna Capri looks well in here and will be a tough nut to crack. fancy Rapid Fire to improve more and scare her
race 5 - open looking and i fancy the roughie Tyrus Express for place value. cover exotics well
race 6 - Two horse race they say but my money will be on Anything Goes. swinger to consider with Miss Elegance
race 7 - If Mount Pleasant runs then race over imo. Second base will be my second choice
race 8- Bohica must be in here with a solid winning chance. Here again highly competitive. for my Pa will include winter smoke
race 9 - Bookies make it a two horse race but i always fancied Bella Black and will include in exotics
race 10 - Whorly Whorly to end the day for me

enjoy and be safe

One of those cards that looks too easy:

Zodiac Princess in the 2nd looks good value imo

Major Winter and Anna Capri hard to beat

Tyrus Express the value in a very open 5th race

I think the going may make this a tough 1600 - as such I prefer War of Athena from Anything Goes

Colts Guineas interesting - if Mount Pleasant gets the 1600, he will win - if not, a few can take advantage; Second Base will definitely stay a tough 1600

Don't ignore Epic Dream in the competitive 8th race

Zimbaba from Celestial Love for me

Enjoy B)

Race 5 - 8 Tyrus Express, 2 Western Fort, 6 Captain Chorus
Race 6 - No selection - something outside top 2 would be 4 Miss Elegance

Race 8 - 6 Mombela, 9 Winter Smoke. 2 True To Life
Race 9 - 4 Bella Black, 3 Toto
Race 10 - 4 Zouaves, 5 Tierra Del Fuego
