Definitely not Garrick's horse. He is not that old to have been a colour holder in 1976. Also his initials are GJ.

Its the trainer leading it in (looks like Justin Snaith) .

Garrick if not mistaken, is slightly older than me so its possible he could have been a colour holder?

As far as initials cant argue.
