PA Quickmix - Tote Incompetence

There is a new weekday bet - PA Quickmix - Same concept as the Jackpot quickmix, but just as a PA. Great! Looks a good bet...

Just as always, everything the tote touches turns to shit. How does one ever justify having the option of SELECTING races to add to this bet from an array of 3 UK meetings alongside the SA races, and then the useless person doing the selecting chooses a THREE, yes 3, horse race, to add to the PA, where the top 3 selections apply. Do the tote just want to have people win their money back and take their cut. Surely this shit doesn't encourage anyone to play this bet. Great marketing of this bet on TT, but really the people in these positions that choose these races need to be looked at, clearly useless at what they are meant to be experts at, encouraging the most turnover.

Tote see us as poor punters who don't deserve any better service than just ANY race which we press our coin. They cannot see us as investors or at least basic stakeholders in the game but silly addicts who are overpowered by the need to bet against the purpose to bet.
Turnover is driven by introduction of products which entice a punter to buy them incessantly eg Jackpot Quickmix or Pick 6. Countless of times products are introduced (Roulette what what) & withdrawn (Bipot Express etc) in store without proper market research & analysis.

Limited feedback to punters is a norm and they only respond to queries which they see they were not at fault.

On Mon Tabcorp made an apology announcement on the aftermath of catastrophic system downtime and stressed the plan for the firm to be aggressive going forward to recoup lost millions in 2 days.

HKJC last season missed just 1 meeting due to protests and they made plans to recover lost betting turnover by introducing extra race to upcoming meetings as starting point to boosting turnover.

Locally its a norm races to get abandoned and i dnt know how many millions of betting turnover has been lost.

Place Accumulator Quickmix

TAB will operate a daily Place Accumulator Quickmix from tomorrow, Friday 13 November.
It is identical in concept to the popular Jackpot Quickmix and will comprise a mixture of South African and international races. As with the Jackpot Quickmix, this will enable the bet to be completed in a significantly shorter timeframe than a Place Accumulator on a single race meeting.
The Place Accumulator Quickmix was soft launched today without any pre-publicity and the trial went off satisfactorily, barring the displays of tickets going forward and will pays.
These display issues were similar to those experienced with Jackpot Quickmixes and in this instance appear to have been caused by Leg 4 being resulted before Leg 3.
TAB apologises to customers for these display problems and will resolve them soonest.
