Shangaan, beaten by what looks to be a decent sort in Ottoman Empire, who came out an won again on Saturday. Has met and finished ahead of Global Spectrum, who made improvement last time out. Not sure of the strength of that field, no runners since, so sticking with Shangaan as a confident choice.

Really Royal, returned from a break and put in a good effort when narrowly beaten by Capitana. One to beat if seeing out the distance, breeding would suggest she should get the extra. Scented Mistress beat a moderate bunch last time out. Dark horse could be Chat Ching especially if getting away on terms.

Capitana, probably the best bet on the card. Ran 0.75 second to Zarina conceding 5.0kgs. Zarina ran a creditable third in the recent Grade 2. Being a two time winner, could be better than rated and well in here.

In good form but an open race and he doesn’t present much value at 8-10. Will have winning claims but others need to be considered.

Halliberry (2)
Good comeback effort last time out and hoping for a similar effort.

Big Thinker (3)
In top form and improving with each run. Will be in the money again. High Moon looks danger and good value at 8-1.

Mirror Me (4)
Improving and expected to be in the places again.

Really Royal (6)
Top weight for young filly but has plenty of class. She will be the one to beat over the mile trip.

Half And Half (7)
Tough field but must be included.

Silver Sky (7)
Caught the eye in latest. Include in all bets.

Alsflamingbeauty (
Game win last time out and should give a good account of herself. Capitana obvious danger.

Favorita (
Returns after a lengthy rest. Highly capable on her day.
