I agree Stormy Seas did not go down that well - I saw the jock shaking the reigns - and perhaps that is why the late money came for the winner ..... who if you listened to the interviews is not showing a lot at work - and is a difficult ride .... but no, immediately the experts on this site will shout 'foul'......

Caerphilly never had the speed to beat the draw - and again if you listened to the trainer of the winner, horses CAN and WILL make fools of you

Anyway ....let's just try and enjoy the rest of the card B)

Yes,I’ve been to watch horses work in the mornings many, many times.
What’s your point?
Very rarely will a trainer gallop their charges flat out.I also have very good eyesight and can read the form and see whose on the horse.

Great call - I also considered mentioning Bitter Wind on breeding - but these skelm trainers did not put any money down B)

good to see Mathew Thackeray have a win...would probably have been hot pot favourite with a more "recognised jock"

As in every aspect of life the better you are at the things you do the less you will be surprised.

I'm going to say this once and then not be bothered - why don't you just for ONE meeting refrain from your after the fact clever comments - and try to actually tell us BEFORE the time what is going to happen - for the life of me I can't understand why you are still bothered with this crooked game

Because I like this hobby and I want it to last for a long time to come.
That's why I ask questions when things just don't look right.
If you just accept everything just because that's horse racing and horses make fools of us then people will get away with murder as seen by the demise of our racing which has gone into business rescue because people where doing as they please with no questions asked and others just being too scared to go against the 'big boys'.
I want stipes to question dodgy doings,I want jockeys to get banned if they don't try,I want trainers to get banned for life if they drug their horses,I want all the people who brought this game to it's knees by just doing whatever they can to gain money and giving family members and friends contracts to have their day in court and I want transparency and feed back.
I might not be an owner but that doesn't mean I'm not allowed a view, you don't have to agree with me but I will have an opinion, whether right or wrong.
