And how, didn't want to be the first to comment - looked a very strange ride on the second horse[

Looked like a scene from Noah’s Ark

How's that bullshit comment from Magner in the interview.
Marengo doesn't show us much at home.
10 Marengo 4.00 4.35 3.50 4.00 4.50 5.65 6.00 6.25 6.00 5.00 4.75 4.50 4.00 3.50 3.30
All that money for a horse that doesn't show much at home and backed against one of his own horses.
Does he think we where born yesterday?
If only the stipes could look into the betting patterns and see who's money it was on Marengo,my guess the stable and all it's employees, they knew and they make out as if the where surprised it won.

You noticed that from watching your television screen, an experience jockey like Strydom, surely he can mention something to the vet at the start, if he feels the horse is striding short or something may be amiss?
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Back the wrong one early get the price you want on the one you fancy and boom they got the lot.

LoL durbs...it's how you read it...horses are like us...some days you just don't feel as well...
IMO when people saw the favourite to post they changed their allegiances...bookies covered their bets...as simple as that...

Doubt it was the bookies Pirho, that money came from the stable.
Hard times for the trainers, any way they can try make money they will do it.

It's always gonna bite you on the backside.

sorry Bayern...I should have expressed myself better...The others looked much better...It did not go down like a hot favourite...nothing amiss...but not full in himself...

I wonder .... all of you expert trainers - have you ever been to a training track in the mornings - one FACT that has been consistent over many years of racing - horses CAN and WILL make a fool of you - IF these skelm trainers were so clued up, they would not be training horses

I agree Stormy Seas did not go down that well - I saw the jock shaking the reigns - and perhaps that is why the late money came for the winner ..... who if you listened to the interviews is not showing a lot at work - and is a difficult ride .... but no, immediately the experts on this site will shout 'foul'......

Caerphilly never had the speed to beat the draw - and again if you listened to the trainer of the winner, horses CAN and WILL make fools of you

Anyway ....let's just try and enjoy the rest of the card B)
