Last season battling trainers come GOOD early on this season.

I've noticed that a few BATTLING trainers of last season, seemed to have shrugged off their jinx & come GOOD in the first month of the new season.

Last season : E.Anderson 4 winners, S.Mohideen 1 win, Craig Mayhew 1win , & Colin Lee 1 win.

Colin Lee had a 100/1 shot win today in Durban ( owner/trainer) & the other 3 trainers are on the board already this season.

Bet they're all sleeping better lately.I hope the new season for them is ten fold better than the last seaon. How they make a living out of this game GOD alone knows.

anyone out there got other stats on Jocks or trainers coming GOOD AT LAST ?

How do these trainers survive ? Other names that spring to mind are Pat Antelme and Steve Benton.Given that Pat trained a July winner in Gondolier.

Can anybody answer the question of their survival in the game of racehorse training?
