Been doing FNB to FNB for years with Hollywoodbets and never a problem but lately things have got progressively worse and now , silence. Not withstanding me mailing the POP still nothing.

In my experience service has never been top of mind for Hollywood in any sector of their business, maybe for a few special customers but by enlarge if they can drop the ball, they do, continuously.

I used to go to the Springfield branch for a bite to eat and place some bets but the staff are disinterested, slow and most trebles or Yankees need confirmation from a secret office. I then used the online platform and didn't last long with the continuous problems, even after my good friend Magi recommended i keep using it. Sad to see in this thread that even he has reached the end of his road.

I was happy when the take-away opened across the road so that I would not frustrate myself when wanting to take a quick bet while waiting for my order. Suffice to say yesterday marked the end of me going to buy food as well from Hollywood. A pity really as i would recommend them along with Britannia & Can Cutters, but not anymore. The take-away was dirty and when i asked about my order after 25 minutes I was told it would take another 10 min. I politely asked for my money back and advised that when people order, if a take-away order is going to be longer than 15min then they should advise accordingly. I am not going to get into the rest of the fiasco of order #15.

What is evident though is the common strain running through the whole of the Hollywood operation from onsite betting staff, online operations and even the take-away is that customer service is at the bottom of the scale of importance.

For the record, I would always recommend Hollywood to visitors for their outstanding food and to mates who wanted to have a punt and graze in the past, but no more.

No Parx today. Yesterday they had no Melton. Is everything ok?
