Piere Strydom must hang up his boots ... Our Man In Havana was given a poor ride.....Gave the young 3 year old no chance.......54 years old please stop riding you costing the punters money...

Hi, course was running very fast today. All winners were up with the pace. There was even a course record set. Coming from behind, as Our Man in Havana tried to, was always going to be difficult with the front ones not stopping.

Pathetic ride
Jumped out , could have been positioned in 5 Th got scared , went 3 wide and to the back . One of the worst rides you will see in many years .

I did not see the race but consider he is one of our best jocks ever, some comments are a bit over the top IMO

He use to be a good jockey but not one of our best ....Felix , Muis, Schoeman, GT , Anton and Bartie would play with him......

LOL ... so u have been around a while if you know Gerald Turner, The Blonde Bomber and Mr. Leisher .... but in my opinion you are wide of the mark.

And which S.A. jockey has won MORE than 5,000 races .........only ONE, the blond bomber...believe me they ALL ride bad races, from time to time....even Anton ( not that he rides many squibs )
