Thank you..but French racing isnt popular to punters for reasons i dnt knw. From as long i ve started punting i dnt remember any pools in 000s in France. Did Phum ever try to find out why people shy away from France???

takes 3 weeks of abstinence to break a habit - So maybe many punters stopped punting - Also maybe more difficult to punt at home everyday with the wife and kids around -Fear of losing money must also be a killer and if you have a Tote account will you rush to put money in there knowing they are under business rescue?

Agree about the tote account and with them not even making a statement to reassure people.Also wonder about the carryover money, will we ever see that.
Lots of people also playing with online bookmakers which holds all the open bets.

I presume the pools are low due to COVID 19 and money being tight. In USA, the PA and Jackpot are reaching good levels. The quartets even in UK, are low during the evening meetings. They should rather offfe the Trifecta. Even in Hong Kong, the Quartet and Trifecta are really low at the moment. Punters were use to UK meetings at the night hence no interest shown.

Yes the covid issue gave punters a hiding but check previous France pools for quartets on tabonline..they never reach 000s except on Arc day.
They shouldnt be no difference in pools volumes with other tracks running on the same day.
((It doesnt make sense 1 track quartet pool is 5000 & other track its 178)).

Thats why i had raised issue about resources. Who can punt reading the sportingpost, pmu or francegalop race cards? Not user friendly and you look for horse info by clicking each horse individually which is monotonous & time consuming.

I am really liking French racing. Thumbs up.

Ja, I wanted to, but nobody said anything about Wooded’s contemptuous win and so then I sulked. Without sounding like an ARM I had subsequent contemptuous winners from Raabihah and Grand Glory yesterday but MKFancy came last. Today Loquito managed only a 2nd but at a big price of 8/1. I see that there seems to be a boring card for tomorrow. I can say one tip to you and the other “French” clansmen is that Interbet has been accepting huge prices which even the knock the spots off the English markets.

Well said mr.hawaii.....I've asked myself, when racing resumes again in S.A. am i gonna rush out there and have a bet ? I'm not so sure that i will... i haven't LOST a cent in the last 50 days, and that feeling is just great.

Should my 1st bet be a LOOSING bet, i wont be a happy chappy.
