Gold Circle is delighted to announce that leading bookmaker World Sports Betting (WSB), one of horse racing’s staunchest supporters and sponsor of many races around the country, will sponsor their own raceday at Hollywoodbets Scottsville this Sunday, March 29, headlined by the World Sports Betting KwaZulu-Natal Stakes (Listed).

World Sports Betting have also come on board in a big way for South Africa’s Champion Season with the announcement of their sponsorship of the KZN colts and fillies Guineas. The two Grade 2 races to be run on Friday, May 1, will now be known as the World Sports Betting Guineas and World Sports Betting Fillies Guineas.

This follows WSB’s sponsorship of the WSB Cape Fillies Guineas.

In addition, the popular World Sports Betting 400m Dash will be a further attraction on the night.

These two races along with the Grade 2 Independent On Saturday Drill Hall Stakes mark the traditional opening of the three-month festival of racing that is South Africa’s Champions Season.

World Sports Betting will also be in the third year of their sponsorship of the Grade 2 World Sports Betting 1900, this year to be run on Saturday, May 23. The World Sports Betting 1900 is one of the most important races in the lead up to the Vodacom Durban July with many of the runners fighting for a place in the country’s most famous race.
