Afternoon.

This afternoon completed, and went as follows:

The 1st runner we wanted 2.8, and with being around 2.94 on arrival and dropping down to us and beyond under very good support (went odds on!), we had a lay at 2.8 max. The lay/gamble looked in trouble late on, but got the win in a very tight finish, so the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it.......

The 2nd runner we wanted 2.8, and with being around 2.96 on arrival and only getting bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage, so all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a good leave.......

The 3rd runner we wanted 2.32, and with being around 2.78 on arrival and although tumbling down, the price still never came down to us at any stage at all, so a race to avoid for all. The runner was beaten after a battling finish, so heart attack saved, but 'one that got away in hindsight'.....

The 4th runner we wanted 2.32, and with being around 2.14 and shortening on arrival (went odds on), we had a lay at 2.14 max. The lay looked in a bit of trouble late on, but dug deep to win a close finish, so the way it goes. Traders did get their trade back prices in running, so got away with it.........

The 5th runner we wanted 3.45, but a non runner and 4.5% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 3.34 (3.35 nearest exchange price). The price was around 3.85 on arrival and then dropped down to us and slightly beyond, so we had a lay at 3.35 max. The price then went the other way and out to our own price of 3.65 (was 3.75 before reductions) and beyond, so builders and traders had the chance of a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result........

The 6th runner we wanted 2.5, but a non runner and 12.1% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.32. The price had drifted to around 2.4 on arrival and only got bigger, so race to race players had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so glad of the drift now and a good leave.......

The 7th runner we wanted 2.8, but a non runner and 6.3% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.69 (2.7 nearest exchange price). The price had drifted to around 2.9 on arrival and then dropped down to us and slightly beyond, so we had a lay at 2.7 max. The lay looked in a bit of trouble, but simply outstayed the others to win, so the way it goes. Traders did get their trade back prices in running, so got away with it.......

The 8th runner we wanted 3.3, and with being that and slightly shorter on arrival, we had a lay at 3.3 max. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.6 and beyond, so a chance for a 'free' lay for traders and builders. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result.....

The 9th runner we wanted 3.3, and with drifting to around 3.4 on arrival and then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 3.3 max. The price then drifted back out to our own price of 3.6 ad beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade went and won, so the way it goes, but no harm done as of the free bet..........

The 10th runner we wanted 3.2, and with drifting to around 3.25 on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 3.2 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result.....

The 11th runner we wanted 1.7, and with drifting to around 2.42 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift more than justified.....

The 12th and final runner we wanted 2.8, but a non runner and 2.6% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.75. The price had drifted out to around 3.65 on arrival and not coming down to us, we had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift beat us to the punch. Grr.

WELL PLAYED/BATTLED....................(2 from the first 2 (100%) went and won - 3 from the first 4 (75%) went and won - 5 from the first 7 (57%) - 6 from the first 9 (66.66%) went and won - so ultra tough, but we dug deep and limited the damage as best we could. Traders did very well)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) had to concede 2 targets.........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner, and after an almighty battle they ended up conceding 2 targets after their 5th and final lay (the 8th runner). The then found themselves with an insufficient amount left to start another strategy/target, so end it here.

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.8 max, but a poor result see them go behind early........They then had their 2nd lay (the 4th runner ) at 2.14 max, but a poor result see them go further adrift.........They then had a 'free' lay (the 5th runner) that bought a tiny profit.........Then came their 3rd lay (the 7th runner) at 2.7 max, but yet another favourite goes in and so they go further adrift..........They then had another 'free' lay (the 8th runner) that bought a tiny profit.........Then came another 'free' lay (the 9th runner) that only bought sheer relief..........They then had their 4th lay (the 10th runner) at 3.2 max, and a good result see 4 runner builders end conceding 2.3 targets at the very worst...

5 runner builders played on, but never see anymore action and ended this very tough session conceding 1.8 targets, so they'll accept that...

'Traders' either won, or broke level on all their trades, so they played it very well and so nice playing guys..

Well, what a battle that was! far too many winners and although 4 runner builders had to concede a couple, they'll take that with all those winner. 5 runner builders played a blinder to only concede 1.8 targets, so well played guys. Rollers battled very well, but they still had to concede a couple this afternoon, but another tough session done and dusted and we move on. I'm off to chill out, so speak in the morning.

Good luck this evening if you go into battle..

Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings.
