Turffontein Wednesday night

Just been catching some old races
I’m strongly in the IKIGAI camp, the last win was definitely the most impressive win by a 3yo in SA this season

Read on the previous thread that Lerena won't hear of Mill Queen getting beat.
Here's my view..... if the course does not dry out sufficiently to say "good' going, then Mill Queen will get rolled. This horse just about sees out 1600m in good going, if there is some give in the ground, she'll be coming up for air late in the piece. You could argue she finished second to Gabor over the 1600m, the going was good on that day and what i will say, the degree of difficulty between the two courses is chalk and cheese, the Turffontein track is demanding. The one's with stamina doubts will feel that last 50m especially if the going comes up slightly soft.
Rowing in with Summer Pudding, then again, i could be eating the self same egg off my face:lol:
R8, even with Shango not taking his place, i don't thing Ikigai is home and hosed, i think Frosted Gold is a runner here.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Just a pity the meeting starts so early when some are still at work:( , better late than never. Hopefully the track has dried out sufficiently, my selections :-

R2) Entente, could be drawn on the right side of the track after the rain
R3) Frosted Steel
R4) Diamond Dancer
R5) Silver God
R6) Gimme A Wave (if it wins, please don't forget:lol:)
R7) Summer Pudding
R8) Frosted Gold
R9) Factor Fifty (to close the Kennedy treble)
R10) Green Plains
