Scottsville Trainer Comments

Race 1

Karen Anthony
No 2 Miller Man - He ran a nice barrier trial on the poly. He should
prefer the grass and I'm expecting a decent run from him
Wayne Badenhorst
No 10 Cardboard Cowboy - Is fit and well and can finish in the money
Doug Campbell
No 11 Night Journey - Has been showing some nice work and I'm hoping
to see improvement
Dennis Drier/Stuart Ferrie
No 16 Darkest Dawn - He's a nice horse and if not too green, should be
competitive.
Julie Guthrie
No 13 Enzo - Choked up last time out so we have fitted the tongue tie.
Expecting a better run
No 9 Solicitor General - His last two runs have been very good and I'm
expecting him to fight out the finish
Glen Kotzen
No 5 Stormin Norman - Has his first run for the stable but his work
has been good and he should be competitive.
Garth Puller
No 6 August Red - He's coming along nicely. He is looking for further
but can be in the places

Race 2

Wayne Badenhorst
No 6 Frankie Two Shoes - He's fit and well. Trying the 1600 meters
again and can finish in the placings.
Doug Campbell
No 10 Master George - If jockey Danielson can get him to settle in
running he is capable of placing
Dennis Drier/Stuart Ferrie
No 4 Eagle's Vision - Comes back to 1600 meters and from a good draw
should be thereabouts
Dean Kannemeyer
No 5 Fade To Black - Will continue to improve and is one to include in all bets
Paul Lafferty
No 14 Black Fox - If he can overcome his bad draw he will be a big runner
No 15 Grey Linngari - Also badly drawn but could be in the first three

Race 3

Doug Campbell
No 11 Stunning Guest - He's working well and if he can get luck in
running from his wide draw he should be a big runner
Julie Guthrie
No 12 Thrace - Has been off since August last year and should need the run
Glen Kotzen
No 7 Imperial Rage - Has his first run in KZN but he has been running
against stronger in the Cape and he should be the one to beat
Paul Lafferty
No 13 Noble Flight - Is well and should run a big race
No 5 Wisp Of Glory - She's been battling and has it all to do against the males
Garth Puller
No 9 Cassius Colt - He's a hard knocker and can hopefully run into the money
No 8 Magiri - He will probably need another run or two

Race 4

Doug Campbell
No 11 Impact Zone - He's drawn out wide but does like the Scottsville
track and hopefully he can run into the places
Dean Kannemeyer
No 12 Greek Sword - He's been holding form well since racing in KZN.
He is bred to go this distance but only the race will tell. Include in
exotics.
Garth Puller
No 8 Twice Golden - He takes a big jump up in distance which is not
easy but should be included in quartets

Race 5

Dennis Drier/Stuart Ferrie
No 5 Blackburn Roc - Has been racing against stronger recently. This
appears to be the right race for him and he should be competitive
Paul Lafferty
No 2 Share Holder - If he can settle early on he will run a big race

Race 6

Karen Anthony
No 13 Zadora - She's well within herself and is always consistent. She
does seem to prefer the poly track but should nevertheless give a good
account of herself.
Dennis Drier/Stuart Ferrie
No 6 Rule Of Law - Comes back after a lay-off and should be included
in the quartets
Dean Kannemeyer
No 11 Dive Captain - She has solid form and this 1000 meters should be
right up her alley. It is a tricky race but she should be competitive.

Race 7

Doug Campbell
No 5 Ooh La La - She's been working well and should be in the money
Garth Puller
No 1 Inn A Minute - Takes a big jump in class and may not be quite
ready for it. She is also bred for further.
No 12 La Bella - She's drawn out wide but i'm hoping for a nice run
No 8 Wishful Girl Linn - Has her second run after a rest and she may
still need it.

Race 8

Wayne Badenhorst
No 14 Class Of Eight - She's fit and well and if she can overcome her
wide draw, can place
No 11 Satin Slipper - Has her first run for the stable but is well and
could place
Doug Campbell
No 5 Kildonan Bay - Had a decent first run out of maiden company and
i'm hoping she can make the frame
Glen Kotzen
No 1 Apache Dream - Gets a 4kg apprentice allowance and she can be in
the first 4
Paul Lafferty
No 15 Bint El Malak - She has a very wide draw to overcome but is in
good form and with luck in running will be running on strongly
Garth Puller
No 6 First Sighting - Has her first run over 1400 meters and I'm
hoping for a nice run

They have not stopped lashing us. Met meeting and then single bets. No more exotics despite the pleas from the young BrandonB to support tote betting.
