Pathetic outcome . How can the horse that started all the trouble get the race ? Aqua Bolt gets penalized for being “ tripped “ by Jephtah and then not being able to regain its stride , causes interference as a result of being unbalanced . Either the result should have stood or the Stipes should have disqualified both - which would have been the fairest outcome

No that was terrible from Andrews but Stan seemed to think the early hit on it's hind quarters made the stipes not disqualify the horse,if it wasn't for that probably would have been put last.
Stipes get it wrong often but we just have to accept it I suppose.

It would be good if somehow they came up with the ability to give us exotics that we could chose our horses just before each race is run.
Really don't know if it's ever going to be possible but you never know some clever mathematician comes up with a way to do it.

LADDERMAN must be a big runner today. This horse is rated by the Snaiths.

SOVEREIGN SPIRIT (WILL WIN)
The distance though
Run in is 600m's  so shouldn't be to much of a concern
By next year if hawwaam and sovereign spirit meet up in a race 2000m+ at level weights   SOVEREIGN SPIRIT WILL BEAT HAWWAAM!!
Don't leave Meraki out your play, and don't let the betting board put you off either. Be surprised if your fancy pulls this off, hasn't run since June, seasonal/first run in the Cape, more scary, the penalty incurred.
Break a leg though.
Well done!!

Thanks Sammy, thought many would have seen the potential considering he got back 4 points of the 10 penalty, failing which he would have been top weight here. We live and learn.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Sovereign spirit lost Because the timing was wrong
If the horse lost by 2/3/4 lengths or the winner past sovereign spirit and he had nothing left in the tank....fine the horse was beaten fair and square!! BUT 0.40L Running on (Really)
Not going to say Bernie rode a bad race..he is one of my favorite jockeys.....just not timed well
Still a future champion for me!!
