In my High School days of the 1990s they had a Cape trainer, P Labuschagne.

He trained Sharp Electronics Grade 1 winner Planetary Music (related to Drum Star).

Also trained the Gold Vase winner, Hainan Dao, who was as an emergency acceptor.

Phillip has been Assistant Trainer to Steve Moffatt for many years. I assume that he will start with his and his dad's horses.

Patrick Labuschagne trained in CT. Retired quite a few years ago. Father in law of Deon Sampson. No relation to Phillip.
