I must say that yesterday was a bit of a nightmare from a punting perspective, but we live to fight another day.
On the social side 100%, had a good day at the big T, the box is nearly complete and a nice Sunday lunch with the family.
Took a couple of pics at the big T on Sat. thought I might win the best hat, but it was only for the ladies, I thought Julie's mum looked superb, and I am still convinced it is her sister? In addition the lovely wee lass from the RA looked as pretty as a picture, enjoy, the pics are in the gallery on the home page.
I am really enjoying the Olympics and cant wait for the track and field, you can bet on anything.
Looking at the ante post, Zarkava is at around 3/1 for the ARC, the big York meeting, we are looking at Duke of Marmalade a good thing in the International Stakes, the Ebor, as always wide open? and we hope for good runs from War Artist and National Colour in the Nunthorpe.
Was very disappointed that "Archie" did not win the Million, but neither did I, the lotto is a pain.
The Queen Elizabeth the 11 in Sept, is ready made for Henrythenavigator.
The UK soccer is underway and they cant separate Unt and Chelsea, both just under the 2/1, with the Gunners at 5/1 and the Pool at 7/1. and for non supporters of the big 4, I see that Spurs are the favs at 2/1.
