I know many people will disagree but I personally think that Brandon Bailey is absolutely brilliant! I love his enthusiasm, his non "clock work/robotic" ability to just present/commentate and interview all in 1 go.

Given his age, I think he will be the best of best we have seen in SA in very quick time!

Thank you Brandon for being a gem in this sport - we really need your character going forward!

Brandon is one hell of a guy if you meet this young man. He engage with everyone , the highflyers , the five rand punters , owners , jockeys , trainers and even if the stablecat was able to talk he will engage ..... and by meaning engage he will make time to listen and always ask advice and gives his humble opinion. This guy got flagged by some social media bullies and what did he do..... he engaged!!!!! He ask advice what they want him to improve on and even say thank you for support and sorry for disappointing his critics and now he became a hero for most on social media . Wish regulators and operators can follow his example.

And you must see this young man's workrate on Kimberley racedays. He post a full day race by race analysis in his opinion before the meeting starts on fb racing group, he does all the previews before race , call the canter down , call every race and do all interviews and in between trying to gather as much info from the oncourse attendance .... his workload and workrate is hectic . He does 3 peoples job and if you see him he always smiles.
What phenomenal human and benefit for the racing public.

Thats exactly what Im referring to Ziets. For me, his approach and his ability to hold his own against the top brass and then be the voice of the R6 punter is second to none. As humble as they come and the passion that he has for this sport, is unbeatable!

They talk about young blood being the future generation - get this man to lead the drive and watch the interest build. As I once told the Big Boys at the RA back in the day - if you want to draw the interest of the next generation, dont ask the Old Farts to try and recruit young blood. Rather give it to a like minded youngster with the passion. Personally, I don't think Branden is being utilised optimally at this point...

Reading the above, obviously he seems a guy that one can look up to - and that's great.

But for me, Alistair is miles ahead in PRESENTING - Brendon drones on and on - and tells me all the things I can read for myself in the Computaform - but have to say as well that imo at least he talks more sense than Julie

So for me Brendon needs to learn that 'less is more' and until he does - I use the mute button ;) - but that's just me

.....not signaling this oke out in particular....but most of these okes get the mute button.....why are they going on and on about stuff we may already know.....who are they catering for or presenting to .....Joe public in the tote  either got mute or wont hear anyway....or is it other armchair punters that are too doff to read or could not be bothered to study form...if they think they are drawing the potential younger clueless punter that just happened to tune in while flipping channels ..... is the same odds of me having a single full ticket on a triple carryover P6.....
