Scottsville

Race 1

Garth Puller : I have four entered. My preference are If No 1 Double

Expresso eats up tonight he will take his place and does have a

winning and No 9 Winter Chill who put up a promising debut. He may

still be a bit green and is looking for a bit further but should go

close.

Stuart Ferrie for Dennis Drier

No 5 Murphy's Station has come on from his barrier trial and should

run a decent race.

Race 2

Wayne Badenhorst

No 1 Class Of Eight is holding her form well. She ran on Sunday so

might come out of this race unless she eats up. If she starts she has

a place chance.

Garth Puller

No 4 Miss Charlotte has done better on the Poly so I am not convinced

she likes the grass.

Julie Dittmer.

No 7 Elusive Treasure is looking for a bit further and will be green.

Stuart Ferrie for Dennis Drier

No 9 Mission Beach has had two disappointing runs. She drops in

distance and I am hoping for a better run.

No 10 Rule Of Law is a nice filly and has a Quartet chance.

Race 3

Julie Dittmer

No 2 Solicitor General is back up in distance and needs to improve.

No 4 Enzo may still be green and will need to settle.

Garth Puller

No 3 Turf Patrol had poor form before coming to me. He did run better

in a barrier trial last time

No 7 Bay Tibbs was well beaten on his debut. He did run a lot better

in his first run for met. This will be his second run after a break

but should be very competitive.

Nathan Kotzen

No 8 Dry Var is a very big horse and might still be a bit green but if

not too green he could run a good race.

Race 4

Karen Anthony

No 2 Abbey is shining well and is working well so we are expecting

another honest run from her.

Tony Rivalland

No3 in Jest will need the run

Garth Puller

No 6 Sacred Ibis was a bit disappointing last time out. She runs

better from behind so I am trying an apprentice who claims 4kgs and if

she gets a good pace she can run on well.

Race 5

Stuart Ferrie for Dennis Drier

No 2 Escape Club returns from a break and might just need this run.

No 4 Stelvio is in good form and does have a winning chance.

Doug Campbell

No 3 Ooh La La is not well drawn but is he can overcome that draw I am

hoping she can place.

Race 6

Stuart Ferrie for Dennis Drier

No 2 In The Stars is temperamental but does have a winning chance.

No 3 Dieci is doing well and has a chance.

No 5 Sunshine Mint needed her last run and should improve.

Garth Puller

No7 La Bella is having her second run after a lay-off and might need

one more run.

Tony Rivalland

No 9 Star Vega will need this run

Race 7

Wayne Badenhorst

No 1 Rock Pigeon is working well but is having her first run after a

break and might need one run

Julie Dittmer

No 7 See The Prize is working well so I am expecting an improved run from her.

Corrine Bestel

No 9 Rose Of Peru is knocking on the door. She is working well so

should run another good honest race.

Race 8

Stuart Ferrie for Dennis Drier

No 1 Magical Java has a place chance.

Garth Puller

No 6 Bequia has been running well on the Polytrack. She is doing well

at home. Hopefully, she shows her form on the grass and gets into the frame

You got to love SA trainers.
Can't get the basics right, like make sure the horse blady knows how to start properly, before putting your money down.
9 Winter Chill 1.10 1.40 1.25 1.00 0.80 0.90 0.75 0.80 0.77 0.75 0.80 0.75 0.77 0.75 0.70 0.65 0.63 0.60

Race 2 Scottsville no further action taken after the winner no 10 Rule of Law took out no 4 Miss Charlotte (finished unplaced) in the latter stages and rob her off at least the 3rd place cheque?..

Money must have been down on the winner bigtime as Sheldon Peter's, after Rule of Law won by a diminishing head commentates that the horse won easy and had no effect on the result?

Good luck for those who played the winner and stuff all of you who had Miss Charlotte in your respective BiPots and Place Accumulators!

Disgrace!

Old rules he definitely would have been put down to 4th place as he most likely cost Miss Charlotte a better place.
But would it be fair to put a horse that clearly was going to win the race all the way down to 4th place?
No ways was Miss Charlotte going to beat Rule Of Law so under the new rules there was never going to be an objection.
