He has ridden 3 winners so far this season and maybe all of them where on that Fortune horse that he rides very well but the name slips my mind.
He might ride a lot of work for the Fortune stable so maybe that's why he got the ride,or they where trying to make some quick bucks by putting him up and taking the inflated opening price.
Looking at the betting the second one seems more believable I would say.

But the pettycash and the float and last nights turnover of the pub on Scotia:P

Maybe went a little too fast in front.

Please tell us why?
I agree with Ziets,if the horse was fit and well only an under par ride could have got it beat according to merit ratings.
The winner came from very far back which tells us the pace was very strong up front.
Went too fast and faded and beaten by a horse running on.
I can't see any other scenario, but maybe you saw something we didn't.

Agree with The Fantasy. The horse couldn't win in CPT, her first run caught the new stable by surprise and she is back to herself now. An over rated horse? Easy way is to blame the jock, and saying that's the reason he parted ways with a previous employer is even more ludicrous. Funny how sportsman have to watch what they say but the man on the street can type or say whatever he feels. Give it a break.
