Winning Ways - Very Disappointing

Last night I made the effort to tune into Winning Ways.

Why?

Because, at the very least, I was expecting them to discuss/debate/review the annoucement by the operator last Friday regarding the financial health of the industry. In a perfect, professional world we might even have seen John Stewart in the studio or on the phone answering questions regarding the industry. A sort of racing SONA.

But according to Winning Ways - which usually presents a number of news topics (or at least mentions them!) - last Friday appears not to have happened. That is a little like them presenting last week's programme without a single reference to the Durban July.

So is Winning Ways just spin and propaganda? One has to wonder.

Garrick this industry often prefers to ignore issues that are uncomfortable and portray it in a bad light. I also think that because Winning Ways is a Gold Circle production, maybe it would "not be cricket" to discuss the oppositions financial woes. I'm pretty sure that James Goodman would have no problem in his personal capacity, but may be under instructions not to debate the touchy subject.

Does anyone actually know about it or understand what happened? Apart from a few thousand(maybe hundreds it`s the same readers on both) that read on here and the Post?

Also i`m sure WW is produced on Sunday mornings so doubt they would have had much time to get their facts and figures together and verified
