Nowadays, don’t they have to be shipped out BEFORE the July for those who will be relocated to the UAE for the carnival season. If Hawwaam is going to Dubai then I doubt he will run in the July. I did back him y’day to win the July, oh my dear.

Hawwaam will be close to odds on imo if he runs... PS Sportingbet seem to have forgot to adjust after yesterday`s race and Mike de Kock`s comments... They are 11/4, Hollywood 14/10

I'm tempted to say 'other' - it is a handicap after all - and although Hawwaam did everything asked of him, I don't think the win yesterday enhances his chances by much - in fact he might go up in the ratings and have to carry 57

Then there's the pace - if there is a pace this year, he may struggle to find clear run in a big field - so the value lies with the longer priced runners imo

Having attended the Handicapping Roadshow after the races yesterday, I can confirm that Hawwaam's rating has not been changed following his Daily News victory - still set to carry 56kgs in the VDJ.
