Race 1 - competitive race with a number of chances. First Sighting raced wide on debut and from 1 draw looks a place chance at a price.

Race 2 - not much pace here and the blinkered Duke of Swing could well try go start to finish. Has recent runs advantage over main rival.

.....got put off by the early morning back slapping praising the parties for putting the meeting on at short notice...... while those poor Cape boys where once again shafted....thankfully Hong Kong and maybe Chester for an afternoon interest....:blink:

Political views aside, Our Motherland. Think the favourite, Secret Palace, has a bit to do from a fairly wide draw being a juvenile. Second favourite, Super Fine, looks to be a speedy/race handy type, but a fairly wide draw could nullify the effects of overcoming the draw in the latter stages. Queen of Roses, even from a decent draw and top jock up, might prefer more ground, consequently on the drift.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
