I am told that Betting World have been closed down in Pretoria and Emperors Palace by the Gauteng Gambling Board. The reason for these closures are apparently because they were unlicensed as bookmakers at these premises. Both premises continue as a tote facility.

Hi Dave this is factually incorrect we relocated the licenses to use where we could get better performance out of the licenses this had nothing to do with the gambling boards.

Perhaps Mr Scott should let his employees know. This was the answer given when asked at the closed Pretoria branch yesterday. I did also get a PM from someone saying that the BW licence at Emperors is now used as a Supabets licence in Benoni
