Ashburton and Rathmor visit

On our way home from visiting the Grandkids, we had the pleasure of popping into Ashburton yesterday morning to visit the Louis Goosen stables and the facilities and surrounding scenery is stunning.
Whilst sitting on the balcony of the club house the words "family fun day " jumped out.
Gold Circle might want to consider?
I spent a bit time walking through the stables and watching gallops and it gave me some indication what drama, highs and lows of getting horses ready for action entails.
The dedication and love for the horses is rather humbling for a small owner and punter.
This morning I went past Rathmor Stud and again the hard work, dedication and love for the horses is mind blowing.
A special thanks to Louis, Lauren, Mike and Tanya for looking after our horses and knowing that when we are having our wee drink and punt that our horses are in very capable hands.

Thank you
Dave and the Clan
