RELEASED BY: Phumelela Gaming

Join us down in the Paradise City, where the grass is green and the girls are pretty.
Oh, you will feel so at home.
Come and get your share of the fortune and fame
Take a bit of a gamble and change the game.
Oh, come on down to Turffontein.

Oh yes babe, on Saturday 4 May 2019 racing will rock you with the Gins N’ Roses Festival on what is also known as Champions Day.
It’s going to be hard racing, great music and a smooth party as you select from 20 different Gin brands showcasing their very best – from straight-up to the most elaborate cocktails.
Gates open at 11am and while general entrance to the racecourse is free, you only have to fork out R150 to get into the Gins N’ Roses Marquee. And that includes a tasting voucher.
Oh, you will feel so at home.
Don’t make the mistake and think this party is for the racing experts. It’s for everyone who wants to celebrate life, music, the changing of the seasons, and of course, Gin.
Yes, there will be racing. And yes, it will be spectacular.
And yes, there will be someone to show you the ropes when it comes to racing and wagering - if you want to learn.
Tickets are available through Webtickets.
No under 18s in the Gins N’ Roses Marquee.

Paradise City? Lol.
Now that that the M2 is closed, and despite not heeding a buddy’s advice to take an alternative trip via N12) the route thru Joburg city was truly disgusting and treacherous. What a shithole.

Sly i actually thought it was rather clever.
You might end up with an extra 1000 dyslexic rock fans coming for a punt?

Since the M2 is closed I have to take alternative routes through JHB City going to and coming back from work.

Agree with you Mac, it is not what I anticipated and actually is a nightmare, especially if you haven't driven in this area for a while.

No rules for taxi's, they skip red robots like it does not exist, huge potholes everywhere and some very dodgy spots

JHB city is what it is. Turffontein is where it is.

The operators are at least trying to get people to the course. I wish them well, for the sake of horse racing.

Not disputing that the operators are doing their best Lionel, fact is the closure of the M2 has been a nightmare and will be an issue for people who haven't been to Turffontein or don't know how to get to this venue.

We all hope for the sake of racing that everything goes well and that the meeting is a huge success, if we don't have this attitude in mind then you might as well quite racing
