Race 1

Yogas Govender
No 1 Angel Bouquet has ability and although she does have the
favourite Clear Horizons to beat she should run well.
Stuart Ferrie for Dennis Drier
No 4 Naoshima is a nice filly and should be there or thereabouts.

Race 2

Paul Lafferty
No 4 My Majestic Glory is a major runner.
Karen Anthony
No 9 Big King had a good come back run and is working well.

Race 3

Peter Muscutt for Brett Crawford
No 1 Moschino : The step up in distance will suit and he will be competitive.
Paul Gadsby
No 3 Master Of The Sea was behind Moschino two runs back but I am
hoping this extra distance will suit him. He has got a chance.

Race 4

Steve Benton for Doug Campbell
No 1 Jamaica Bay should go close. No 4 Oriental Express is the danger.
Yogas Govender
No 6 Fonteyn is battling to win but I am expecting another good honest race

Race 5

Peter Muscutt for Brett Crawford
No 2 Parabola is dropping in the merit-rating and has also had no
luck in-running in her last two starts. I am expecting a much better
run
Stuart Ferrie for Dennis Drier
No 4 Forehand won a nice race last time out but this is a stronger
race. A trifecta horse
Duncan Howells
No 9 Grecian Gale is up in class but is improving
Dennis Bosch
No 10 Laat Lammetjie is in a good space. She is up in class but has a
nice low weight

Race 6

Duncan Howells
No 1 Legend is in the right race for him and should go very close
Dennis Bosch
No 3 Samsonite is in a good space. He would probably prefer a bit
further but could place
Paul Lafferty
No 6 Mokoko won a nice race last time out. He is doing well and has a
place chance.

Race 7

Dennis Bosch
No 5 Kir has been disappointing as her work is very good. I am
dropping her in distance.
Paul Gadsby
No 6 Turkish Lira will probably find this distance too short
Karen Anthony
No 12 Well Said will have Blinkers up and I am hoping for improvement

Race 8

Dennis Bosch
No 1 Graduate is a nice horse who has had some issues. He could do
much better back on the Polytrack.
Duncan Howells
No 2 Ruby Spirit won a maiden last time out. He is above average and
although in a handicap this time I am expecting a top 3 finish.
Paul Lafferty
No 3 Celebration Rock is a smart horse but has a bad draw to overcome.
Put in Quartets.
No 10 savage is out the maidens now and is working well so can place

Well backing CLEAR HORIZON yesterday was clearly a mistake as I would have thought she would shorten perhaps into 9/10 or evens, so today I've doubled my stake as the odds are great, especially with the Drier horse been backed quite substantially. Three lengths would be nice, I think she will be just off the pace maybe three four lengths back and win going away. I'm not at all worried about favorite, will have to do something pretty special I think to beat the Van Zyl runner.

It's just my opinion though, maybe she jumps sideways and runs plum.... bad day then for me :(
