Must be I suppose. This is normally the time when their winners start happening at nice prices.

Everytime these type of threads open i just think. Wow it must be hard trying to make a living as a trainer in SA.

The pools of owners is ever shrinking
The stakes are not keeping up with Living Costs
The administrators of the game have no idea or no interest in trying to help small or struggling yards.
New Licenses are issued in an already over crowded space.

i would not want to be a small yard in SA.

Love of the game i guess

If it is correct that Van Reenen has joined the Glen Puller stable is whatever position
Watch Out
These 2 were so effective in about 2002 for a few years and had a huge number of winners at
that time
I wish them the best
