R5, Secret Depths from the same Snapscan formline, should win.

Back to the country course today.
Race 1: Both the raced runners put up decent debuts, so should be involved in the finish but watch support for first timers.
Race 2: We were very happy with Drama Queens’s debut behind highly regarded stablemate. Was running on strongly without being punished. She is bred for further, and unfortunately gets a wide draw here, but has made enough improvement to have a good winning chance. Capacity Crowd similar debut and gets a better draw. We were gaining on her at the death last time, but should not be much between these two. Hidden Strings also a good enough debut and must be respected. Have to watch support for first timers.
Race 3: Procrastination looks very hard to beat. Hollywood Belle has really tried our patience- has had a succession o issues which have kept her off the track. We have persevered because she is well bred and we believe has ability. Has relocated to Noordhoek to get the benefit of sea water. A wide draw but a small field and we will be disappointed if she is not in the money.
Race 4: Metropolitan will not find an easier opportunity to shed his maiden but has been costly to follow. Deposition looks next best. Mist of Time should enjoy this trip but he looks likely to go to PE soon as he is battling to feature in CT.
Race 5: Secret Depths has been the model of consistency but has been running on from too far back. The extra trip and a stronger rider will hopefully do the trick. She ran a good race at her only start this track. Not the best of draws but not a huge field so not too big a concern. There is little between her and Depeche, Summer Moon and Heavens Embrace, and fillies handicaps can always throw up a result. Hopeful is very well in at the weights on earlier form although below best lately.
Race 6: Another very competitive fillies handicap. I will side with the improving 3 yo’s.
Race 7: Louisa May had a very poor draw last time and is my first choice today. Not much between her, Lip Service, Flying Squadron, Sacred Storey and Bitter Lemon.
Race 8: Six Degees ran on well on debut, and is my pick here. Fateful the main danger. Al Jalali and High Key both improved last runs and could surprise.
Aldo Domeyer has a very nice book of rides today and he holds the key to the day.

Well done on the places, that was squeaky bum time for favourite backors, of which i was one, the favourite appears to have a mind of it's own, Aldo appeared to pull the horse up shortly after winning and returned to the winner's enclosure.
