To be replaced by Gary Neville.
Sorry, I couldn’t help that.

In spite of Sunday's result, this is turning out to be a fantastic week!
Well done to the board for the brave decision. No point in flogging a dead horse (excuse the analogy).
Let's hope we finally sign the right manager.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Aaah, there were those rumors that Zidane was always targeted so find it surprising that he is quite long with bookies’ prices.

nobody until new season. temp until then.
i was very happy when he joined the club. but his attitude over the last year has been bad.
as a manager u need to lift and improve the players and he has not been doing that. he has been sulking like a little kid and i am sure that rubbed off on the moral of the squad.
now the question is will they buys any players in Jan window or sell any high profile players in jan window.
Phil jones blah Fred blah
but they may all turn the corner with new manager

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer best odds 6-5
The baby-faced assassin scored 91 Premier League goals during his Manchester United career - and the winning goal in the 1999 Champions League final. The 45-year-old former Old Trafford favourite had a brief unsuccessful spell as Cardiff boss in 2014 and also managed United's reserve side from 2008-11. Has been in charge of Molde in his native Norway since 2015.
Laurent Blanc 6-1
Backed into odds-on favouritism by Tuesday lunchtime before drifting after money came for Solskjaer, the former United centre-half has not managed any team since parting company with Paris St-Germain in the summer of 2016. The Frenchman, who finished his long career at Old Trafford, won three consecutive Ligue 1 titles at the helm of the Parisian giants but turning around United's fortunes will be a trickier task.
Zinedine Zidane 7-1
Zidane left Real Madrid on his own terms at the end of last season after leading Los Blancos to three straight Champions League victories. Zidane was the early favourite but support for Blanc has seen him drift. He would be a popular choice with supporters.

It's a pity... I really liked what he was achieving at the club...

I'm not a real football fundi - but imo his sacking is overdue - did ok until the end of last season, then for some reason did not buy well .... and ended up in charge of a team of prima donnas.
And now the favorite to take his spot is a guy who is coaching in Norway  Surely the choice should be between Blanc and Zidane
