Mike de Kock’s Dubai Carnival acceptors

DUBAI (November 28, 2018)—Meydan Group has released the list of horses accepted for the 2019 Dubai World Cup Carnival, which commences on January 3, 2019, at Meydan Racecourse. The list features 202 accepted horses conditioned by a total of 71 trainers from 17 countries. Several international stars are set to travel to Dubai this winter to compete for a share of the US$12,670,000 prize money—an increase of 12% from 2018—across 10 race cards, including 61 Thoroughbred races and 4 Group Purebred Arabian races.

Lets not forget Last Winter for DK.

It seems gone are the days of the good 3 year olds going there as 4 year olds. Would’ve been awesome to see MDK there with horses like Rainbow Bridge, Do It Again and more international buys from Europe and Argentina etc for the season. I always feel our horses lately go over a year too late?! I hope MDK does well but that seems a lackluster string as it’s become so competitive over there now. Always something to look forward to, the carnival is awesome..
