Melbourne Cup: Tues 6 Nov 2018
6 years 7 months ago
Although there have been eight seconds (three by Red Cadeux) no British trained horse has ever one the Melbourne Cup.
Six horses based in the UK will be running: Magic Circle, Cross Counter, Muntahaa, Best Solution, Marmelo and A Prince Of Arran. Scotland-trained Nakeeta, fifth last year, has also made the trip.
Yucatan, one of Irish champion trainer Aidan O'Brien's trio of raiders, heads the field in the betting.

Is there a link to the final field? I would be interested to see if David Payne’s Derby winner made the cut... must be good value if so.

Thank You.
I’m going for David Payne and Ace High at a big price... also watch Muntahaa as Jim Crowley has missed some good rides to go over and ride this one and who can take on John Gosden at the moment. What a race, a race that stops the nation and in fact a lot of the world ...
