GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 2 and 9 - SPORT CHIC & HELLO ROSIE : Sport Chic enjoys track and trip, she meets an open field and has a chance. Improvement expected from Hello Rosie.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 5, 6, 7 and 8 - MAID SO FAR, HURRICANE SASHA, FLAME OF FIRE & ALTRUISTIC : Maid so Far will need the experience of the run again. Hurricane Sasha tries the blinkers and we are hoping she can reproduce her last effort over 1000m. Flame of Fire is well drawn and we are expecting a nice run. Altruistic has the pacifiers on and we are hoping for improvement.

GAVIN SMITH - Number 4 - BORN A BULLY : His last was a decent run over track and trip.

TARA LAING - Numbers 1, 3 and 5 - SHALLCROSS, FUJIN & THE SULTANS SECRET : Shallcross was very unlucky last time out and stumbled badly at the start, he has good chance. Fujin ran a good second last time out and has a decent shout here too. The Sultans Secret has been very disappointing of late.
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 2, 4 and 9 - CONQUERING KING, STATE CAPTURE & ROCK FANTASTIC : Conquering King and State Capture have place chances. Hoping for improvement fromRock Fantastic.

JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 2 - TITUS : He ran a good race last time out and is always trying. He can find the frame.
GRANT PADDOCK - Number 8 - REBEL BARON : Well deserved win in his last, he meets an open field and has a chance at going back to back.

SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 2 and 8 - CHIT CHAT & DATA LINK : Chit Chat ran a great last over course and distance and she should be competitive. Data Link has to take her chances here even though she is under sufferance as there are no other races for her. She is honest, always tries her best and is distance suited.
GRANT PADDOCK - Number 5 - MAKING MIRACLES : She is out at the weights, but is up to the task and can still be competitive here.

ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1 and 6 - NIFTY FIFTY & BERTINA : She can follow up on her decent debut win. Bertina tries blinkers and can improve.
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 7 and 8 - UNEXPECTED VIEW & ASHDOWN : Unexpected View is up in class having her post maiden run. Ashdown ran a decent last and is improving all the time.

SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 2 and 4 - VALENTINE’S GIRL & LITTLE MO : Valentine’s Girl is a super honest filly, she’s got a great draw for a change and will give another good account of herself. Little Mo always gives his all and never finishes far back, we expect him thereabouts again.
GRANT PADDOCK - Number 3 - ROCK THE COT : He has his second run after the lay off, which is always a concern, but he is working very well.

ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1, 2, 3 and 6 - AL’S BELLS, NICOLE, ESPRESSIVO & FAIRYINTHEMIST : Al’s Bells has the apprentice claim to help and has dropped in the ratings, she can earn. Nicole can hopefully improve on her last. Espressivo posted a decent debut last time out and has come on. Fairyinthemist finally cracked a draw and can be there.
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 5, 8 and 10 - CASSINI, MACKEREL SKY & CASA DE VAR : Cassini in on the up and improvement is expected. Hoping that Mackerel Sky can find a place. Casa de Var enjoys track and trip and cracked a great draw.

dont think the carpenter can do it at the weights couple of horses that were 1 2 lenths off with big weight turn arounds like mpanya horse for egsample

race 3 dont like tipping over 1600m but shallcross looks tge right one
race 8 either casa de var or fairy in the mist depending if horses are coming from off the pace or front running tactics are working
