Fancy the double :-
R4) Trippi's Express X (R7) Hudoo Magic
Trippi's Express (1/1 into 6/10), whilst making the handicap debut, won the maiden very well and should win this with little fuss.
Hudoo Magic (9/2) won it's maiden comfortably enough and can go in again. Not sure the favourite, Silver Maple (9/10), can concede 8.0kgs to what looks like an up and coming sort, who if winning would probably aimed at bigger three year old races during the summer. Worth a go at the current odds.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Trainer comments
Race 1
Justin Snaith
No 7 Augustina - Shows pace at home. Each way chance
Glen Kotzen
No 8 Cat Daddy - Lovely big strapping colt but might be a bit sharp
No 12 Writteninthestars - Track will suit but might be a bit too sharp for him
Patrick Kruyer
No 9 Duke of Hazard - Might need the experience but shows reasonable
work
Brett Crawford
No 11 Kingston Rock - May need the run on debut
Dan Katz
No 6 All the Sevens - Pulled hard last time over the 1250. He's doing well
at home and we hoping for a better run over the shorter distance.
Paul Reeves
No 5 Ferraris's Moon - Ran a much better race last time. He's working well
and we looking for more improvement.
Mike Stewart
No 1 Beethoven - Shows pace, in with a small chance
No 4 Hey Boy - Has a chance if he can overcome his wide draw
Race 2
Justin Snaith
No 5 What A Red - May need the run. Small place chance
Paul Reeves
No 1 Winter Five - Is working well and should be competitive
Race 3
Brett Crawford
No 3 Dream Dancer - Working well at home and will likely need the run.
Outside quartet chance.
No 5 Ikebana : First run back after time-off, expecting competitive run.
No 8 Capaill :
Working well at home, expecting a good run. E/W
Harold Crawford
No 6 Empire Rising - Is in good form at the moment and is in with a
good chance again
Paul Reeves
No 1 Pippielangkous - Is doing well at home and should finish in the
money.
Race 4
Patrick Kruyer
No 7 Mtoroshanga - Distance might be sharp
Paul Reeves
No 1 Dayonaut - Needed his last run. He always tries his best and does
prefer the going on the good side.
No 3 Photocopy - Is working well and is in with a good place chance.
Brett Crawford
No 2 Trippi's Express : In good form at home and has shown improvement
on the track, include in larger perms.
Race 5
Bill Prestage
No 1 Red Peril is looking for a soft track. Might place
Ronnie Sheehan
No 6 Troop the Colour - Ran a good second off a slow pace last time and
with a decent pace should again be right there.
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 3 What A Joker :
Doing very well and if he sees out the trip well, will have a good
winning chance. Good Each Way value.
Brett Crawford
No 4 Earl Of Warwick : Honest horse that always puts in an effort,
place chance.
Race 6
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 1 Extradite : Down in class and if she sees out the mile, could
have a money chance.
No 3 Pearly Jam : She has come on well with her last run and will have
a good each way chance here.
No 6 Strawberry Fire : An in-form filly improving all the time, she is
race fit and will have a winning chance again. Hard to make a
preferential call on our fillies in this race.
Brett Crawford
No 7 First Swallow : Low weight, needs the race to go her way.
Glen Puller
No 5 Miss D'Aray - Hoping for a nice run, but should need the run
Race 7
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 4 Cape Xtreme - He should need his run back, being off since July.
Harold Crawford
No 6 Spectre Force - Is working very well and should once again give
a good account of himself.
Brett Crawford
No 7 Hudoo Magic - Improving sort, work at home is good. Place chance.
Race 8
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 2 Indian Song : Her two close up runs prior should see her in with
a good chance here, but will need some luck from the draw.
No 4 Miss Plumcake : First run out the maidens and first run back
after a break from a poor draw so should need it. She has a bit
against her here, but is doing and has ability, so will need to
include.
No 8 Viva Le Bleu : First run in the Cape after a break. Not really
sure what to expect, her work is quite solid at home and given a
chance could be running well.
Dan Katz
No 5 China Wolf - Takes a step up in trip but she is fit and well and
should run
another decent race.
Mike Stewart
No 10 Duchess of Prussia - Needs to repeat penultimate run
No 9 Silver Streamer - Should prefer this distance. In with a chance.
Brett Crawford
No 6 Delia's Delight - Doing very well at home, expecting an each way chance.

There was a nibble on 5 Ferrari`s Moon in Race 1.
Maybe a place bet.
