SEE YOU TYGER in Race 1 was unlucky last time as it was slow away and flew up in the closing stages.

Turf Inside again - hopefully it will still be raceable come Saturday .... thoughts :

R1: Fararanga overdue; should not be a lot between See You Tyger and Mantario Express who look the main dangers of the raced runners; Eskimo Kisses obviously can't be ignored - both jock and stable are in great form

R2: Blossom on breeding will be at best over further; could still be classy enough to hold off Shezahotti (better drawn today) and Dream On; Memory Bliss not finding any betting support, but who knows

R3: Blanco drawn a bit wide, but anything that Gavin rides has to be respected; Rivonia Boulevard comes back after quite a long break, but has run some good form, so could be good enough even if not fully wound up; Shadow Man tries shorter again and could be considered for larger perms along with the roughie Enter the Dragon, who has had a fair run over this trip

R4: Open fillies and mares handicap; Redberry Wood deserving favorite for the Woodruff / Lerena combination - has been slightly disappointing though, so not cut and dried; main dangers imo Angelic, Exclusivity and Ossetra, but not many of the others can be totally discounted

R5: Another open looking fillies and mares contest; Illegal represents the in-form Dawson / Lerena combination, so is probably a deserving favorite; many dangers including the Spies coupling of Free and Easy (blinkers today) and Calypso Dancer

R6: Shufoog hard to beat imo - only danger William the Silent who has to give the year-older filly 5 kgs ....

R7: More open than it first appears - especially as White Haven is said to be in need of the run (as per the trainer's comments); Make Your Move in form, but could just be a bit high in the ratings; Classify made up more than 7 lengths in the last 400m last time when drawn wide - could be competitive in this smaller field and Shortstop has some good form if one looks past his last two efforts

R8: Quite a few with chances here; my shortlist is made up of Gunston, Torio Lake and Time to be Great with Bronx Bomber and Hot August next best
