Will the track be safe? I know it's a straight run but is that track in good order?

Imo, unless we get some rain in the next week, the going will be dicey - as for the race, I know it is a handicap, but think the favorite could be better than rated and will give Gavin a big opportunity to land the hat-trick

......sorry I find it very hard get enthused by this event.....after seeing pictures of the track last week that brought about scratchings on the day.... and then a bigger outcry at the SP about the lack of staff due to retrenchments and maintenance budgets being curtailed.....then the rescheduling of race venues at extra costs.....then now at more costs the track has to be readied for the event.....while the PHUM execs and their entourage are living it up in Singaopore on a very lavish excursion.....frankly it is quite sickening
......maybe it is better to be a dumb tote sheet punter with no clue in the world of where your punting rand actually is going.....:sick:

......then again you don't really know me.....I am that very rare racing purist.....I refuse to wager on the trots and even jumps.....if a Quick mix has a leg with any of this non purist equine event..... it does not get a punting dime of mine.....nor do I punt in any racing jurisdiction namely USA where the use of pre race day medication is allowed.....unless it is a big race day Derby and Breeders Cup days.....then I know that all horses are all on the juice.....I am now shying away from any race where the PTB make a big song and dance promotion over ....yet have failed to have the facility in a respectable shape to stage such an event...... :blush:
