The Vaal Tuesday

My Thoughts/Plays for today:

R1 - What A Captain the obvious one. I like a bit of Game theory to run into the placings.

R2 - ULLA - Alumites first time to do the trick. Some value at 33/10

R3 - Like I said earlier. If the money horse doesn't arrive, it's a wide open affair. I'm siding with the next three in the betting - Bella Ciao; Running Fury & The Barry Run in that order. Also going to include Peking Tyson - 3rdrun/rest and could very well be his best chance to shed the maiden tag.

R4 - Josie and Elangeni look good. I'm siding with Josie purely on the form Lucky H has at this track. Get Your Grove On will be included - Domeyer/Fortune combo doing well.

R5 - I'm sticking my head out and going with Dalley - Down to a MR68; Nice draw of 6, S'manga to get 52kg, Lucky H in great form... I like it a lot

R6 - Lord Silverio looks Special. I'm including Querari Viking to challenge. Would rather take the 15/10 first three on Querari Viking than the current 1/1 on Lord Silverio to win. Will be climbing on Swingers and Exactas here

R7 - Psychic looks strong here. I mentioned in another thread that Desert Sunsets last victory really impressed. He was booked to run on the 01/07 but got scratched (not sure why) but probably for the better because I thought the 2400m was out of his reach. Back to the 1800m today, I think he will run a big race again.

R8 - My VALUE BET TODAY - Porcupine Creek. When this horse came back from its rest the blinkers were applied and didn't show anything. On his 3rd/rest the blinkers were removed and I remember making a note of his 5th place run over 1700m. His very next run was over a distance way out of his reach (2600m) but still finished under 5L behind the winner on the tight Turf Inner track. Back to the Vaal today, 1800m, dropped 9 points in the last 3 months, S'manga sticking with him... Although a slight concern for the draw, I'm going to smack a good eachway here.

R9 - I think this could be a two horse race between Rubix and Horace with Preference to Rubix
