if I pay 2k at enteries stage, then that carries me straight through or at each stage you pay?
No ---
First Declaration: Close 11:00 Monday, 14 May – R 3,450 (Fee R 3,000 + VAT R 450) (Non Refundable)
Second Declaration: Close 11:00 Monday, 4 June – R 5,750 (Fee R 5,000 + VAT R 750) (Non Refundable

Excuse my ignorance, but what is stopping one from Entering, and then skipping the first & 2nd declarations stages and go straight the Final Declarations - I suppose it is written somewhere that one has do both First and Second Declarations to get to Final Declarations

You pay 2k to nominate,
then another 3k (or don't pay and scratch) = 5k

Late enteries: if you didn't before now at 11k

Then another 5k to stay in, so (2+3+5) 10k or (11 + 5) 16k if you were late

Final late entry at 22k (original guys stay in at 10k, and prev late guys in at 16k)

Today you pay 28k to be eligible (refundable if you tossed)

So runners are early (2+3+5+28) 38k, late (11+5+28) 44k, very late (22+28) 50k

On gallop he is down to ride Strathdon and Gimme Six. I am sure he will ride ANS.

I am interested to see which horse Bling hops on for Tarry in July? As i've observed from Tarry over the years he won't have any jockey declarations so soon after final field announcement which is frustrating
