Slack & Javett have a debut runner with John Gosden in the 2:15 at Newmarket. This one was supposed to go to MDK abut not sure what happened there.

Speaking of horses bred in the purple, I'm equally as excited to see Surya, John Gosden's colt. By Frankel out of a dual oaks winning mare, Sariska. When she won the Irish Oaks, she never came off the bridle, Jamie Spencer waving past the jock in second as he swooped past on a bike!

Hope Surya has inherited his father's ability and not his mother's temperament. Sariska ended her career by refusing to come out of the stalls in her last two races.

yeah true that...she once double-hooved trainer Michael Bell and damn near killed him!
