wonder if they are going to basic bartering.....wonder if they will start accepting goats and chickens for a win place multi..... :huh:....also heard about the cows some weeks ago but thought it was a belated April fools prank.....one would have thought that after all the flak they got in the SP comments about the hogging of TT airtime on the bakkie bonanza..... they would can the idea....next thing we will have a race course in Limpopo and bookies laying bets and paying out with chickens.... :S

No you don't need a farm. I reside in PE and there are cows/cattle grazing all over the place on the grass verge in the middle of the national roads, on the way to and near the airport,my step son's girlfriend rolled her car avoiding a cow lying in the darkness in the middle of the road. She is a student and has no medical aid, the accident was reported to police and a counter case(I kid you not was laid for damage to property as the cow was killed).Was told that she had no chance of compensation as the cow belonged to herdsman's that had no money. I subsequently found out that this same "'herdsman" has over 80 head of cattle which he overnights at the Arlington dump site, I'm told that the value of these cattle are about R 100 000.

P.S According to eyewitnesses from the nearby local community he arrives and leaves in a late model Ranger Wildtrak.

i just divorced one and now they offering them as prizes.

Sad to hear Felix... But I do feel your figures need adjusting... .... On average, these specimen range from 8k... So 80 cows at 8k means a hell of alot more than 100k... I wouldn't be surprised if the Wildtrak is just the weekend vehicle

You probably right K ,makes my blood boil when people like this take advantage of the local community to enrich themselves, more concerned about the loss of life that is sure to occur :ohmy:

Where they are too sharp, is everything is cash deals so there is literally no trace of anything.... I do hope she fully recovers though Felix....
