I had a bet on Deerupt after the scratching. I see it's 7/2 now. I think it must be worth a bet at that price. I thought it would shorten but its going out?

Agree - with the scratching he's my first choice as he made up big ground on debut

Big fields = big payouts; some roughies to consider for places imo:

R2: Adrenelina - should prefer the 1000 and outside draw should help

R3: Sweet Trial - probably better down the straight and ran close to favorite behind Infamous Fox down the straight

R4: Tricia - not too far of these and finished in front of Annie the Great behind Jamra

R5: One of the fancied runners, but I think Sim-Alley Bank looks well in here

R6: Yer-maan - consistent form but needs to overcome the inside draw

R7: Galactic Warrior - may be better over further but could sneak a place

R8: Lake Kinneret - I think he will run well at a big price

Playing a Pick 6 and will take my chances in the first leg by bankering Shanghai Tang. Should come on leaps and bounds from that debut effort. A few dangers but need to take a chance somewhere as my perm still works out to R40k.

its like a quiz, if you dont know the answers then its tough. For me this card is pretty straight forward. Lucky will win the opener for starters
