I am sure that someone who contributed will no doubt ask Molly however and in my opinion Molly was probably contracred/paid to act as agent. I have always felt it unfair to propose or pass judgement on anyone without an inkling of evidence and in this case insinuate that the man has deceived those who willingly contributed.
On a seperate note, once a person has handed over money it then becomes the property of the recipient to do with what they will. If the person giving the money disagrees then they stop giving. The same as every collection plate at all the churches which was used to create grand buildings and bank accounts.
I have never met Molly personally but have always enjoyed his passion and enthusiasm for the game, it would be a no brainer to employ him to visit betting outlets to give his value bets. I always took his value bets in a race and glad to say made more profits than losses on his value place bets.
Imagine him, Chainsaw and 2c on a Punters channel, I would go so far as to subscribe to their podcast discussion on the main centers cards. Would throw Goody in but he is too smart and is a shrewd form studier. First choice would also have to be Pirates, probably one of the best in the country.

As a journalist Molly has always been one of my favorites either with his writing or presenting. I am not commenting on the morality but I hope that things go well for him because he is one of the few that enhances the enjoyment of the industry

Just mulling through the website and Chainsaw's name came up.
I believe that he was going to move to CPT.
Is he completely out of the game.I always thought he was great value.

Fact: The inner circle in racing will always take care of their own, like every other industry that exists. There was an old saying by a deodorant company called EGO: "You'll hate it if you haven't got it!"... Same case here. If you are not a part of that inner circle, then you probably hate it.
We cant be upset for a funding campaign initiated by whoever. That was within their right to run and raise funds. What's within our control as punters is whether or not we contribute to it. Simple as that.
