Met Tickets

Please let me know if anyone has met tickets they would like to get off their hands or sell at a reduced price. I've already purchased a few at the exorbitant prices they go for.

Taking quite a few extra chaps along to this year, so just putting out a little feeler.

Already left a hole in the pocket with the tickets I've purchased. Funny how they don't list vat in the cost of the tickets on the sunmet website.

The VAT issue.....this is something that Garrick mentioned here on another thread.....not very nice to con purchasers with an added price.....who are these promoters that are doing the selling....are they not VAT registered and some fly by night....they have a duty to do things right..... :sick:

i would stay away next week. the political parties and unions could make that a very unsafe place to be.

Looking at the live feed,appears to be some sort of construction inside of the finish

Voila, found the book at CNA.

Some chap from the PSA was on ENCA being interviewed and was very animated when he mentioned Markus Jooste and his horses running at the Met next week. They're going there to cause big trouble :huh:

Heard plans are in motion to set up barricades away from the entrances to prevent intimidation.

Can anyone clarify what exactly they mean by complimentary bar in the description of the different hospitality set-ups?

I've seen this term used loosely too many times. Sometimes it's an actual bar, sometimes a few self service fridges and too my dismay...just a bucket with a few beers and a bottle of water for each table.

Thought maybe one of you chaps would know or have first hand knowledge of this.

Also are there any bookies present in these set-ups? I've already mentally prepared for the sprint to the grandstand area to get that late strike on.
