mister a wrote: Len the spirit of racing Administrators in those days as Martin points out was to build RACING for racing, the good of all partisipants, in the same spirit I gave Formgrids to the man in the street,, these people running racing today work with other motives , Racing comes last, every last cent is squeezed out of the punter and proffit for the company comes first, then themselves(fat salaries, perks, bonuses) then maybe Racing gets something,
David thank you the point is the punter today has far more info available to make a bet...and imo no punter with all the different venues available and a race every 15 minutes or so somewhere can make money and survive daily if he is not disciplined.

Len Martin points out that there is no free to air broadcast and we have a controlled and narrow media that constricts rather than enhances the sport."

This is true and sad,, everyone knows this, how can Andrew Bon be threatened to be fired for mentioning the word Formgrids on Telly Track by the very man in charge of Racings media who's main agenda should be the promotion of racing and in line with Andrew and Formgrids agenda, Formgrids the very tool they call a swear word at Telly Track , can you not see the calibre of people given top positions in Racing , take the salaries, perks bonuses etc of the 10 top positioned men in Racing and you will see 50 million a year plus siphoned out of the game then work out over half a billion in the next 10 years,, can racing afford this extravagance ? ,, and that's just part of the joke
