Tote manipulation

Hi all .
Did anyone notice the drastic change of tote prices after the race was run in.kenilworth for race 4&5 .
In race 4 the 12 was paying 2,20 a win .the race runs and teaser wins paying 3,80 .the 12 goes out to 6,60 'the tote win.pool went down by 12000 some change .
Race 5 the fav at 15/10 was paying 1,80 a win .race runs and the win.pool is less 9000 and the horse pays 4,00..
How does this work.and when exactly are bets still being cancelled esp these type amounts ..

.....frankly I'm surprised that this actually happened on a big race day....these sorts of manipulations are normally found on smaller pools in mid week venues as not to draw to much attention.....I did see this swing and added the 12 horse to certain exotics because it had attracted what was perceived as firm betting support.....then sharply reversed.....which could only be attributed to a massive bet cancellation.....and yes they are still happening dispite the so called checks and balances put into place.....but as we know these tote okes are not problem solvers....
they are the problem....
