In my humble opinion, eyes wide open is not my idea of a guineas winner. Should have reeled them in easier today. See how Tap o noth performed against a top older horse in OMA vs what EWO today.

The two twice overs, Do it again and Sand and Sea are my picks. Tap o north if they don't run.

The dam was a sprinter, but there is enough stamina in her pedigree that one would expect a son of Silvano to stay a mile at least.
He showed good early speed, and led for much of the way in what appeared to be a true run race. He weakened late, but was only beaten 4L. Considering this is only his 3rd run and his first time around the turn, I certainly would not write him off. He is a nice looking sort, and impressed in the canter past. He looked to me to be still quite immature, and generally the Silvano's need time.

Sorry to sound repetitive but i will continue to brass the natal 2yo feature race form when it comes to the cape 3yo season and todays results yet again confirmed my belief as it has done for the past 4 or 5years..

MOMF tbh none of the first three impressed and neither did they (Cot Campbell and TON) when seeing Ali's replay against Our Mate Art

imo MW was given a poor ride ,from draw 7 to get midfield and allowed to have been bunched up onto a short straight was madness
